(HealthNewsDigest.com) - Dallas, TX - November 5, 2013 - Nurses Lounge, Inc, an online professional network for nurses (nurseslounge.com) and wholly-owned subsidiary of MedCAREERS Group, Inc. ("MCGI" or the "Company") (OTCQB:MCGI), a development stage company, returned from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing fall meeting in Washington, DC with commitments from approximately 60 nursing schools and associations to join and utilize their network as a more efficient way to communicate news and information to students, alumni and broader nursing profession.

"By connecting with organization decision makers such as deans of nursing schools like those attending the AACN conference, we can demonstrate the value of our network to them," said Tim Armes, the President and CEO of MedCAREERS GROUP, Inc. and founder of Nurses Lounge.  "Representatives from approximately 500 BSN schools attended this event, and we were able to do a demonstration of our network to about 100 attendees to help them see first hand how their school can maintain a branded online interactive lounge page that works as a continually updated adjunct to their websites," Armes added.

One attendee who found the Nurses Lounge to be the perfect complement to her own school was University of Houston-Victoria, Texas, Founding Dean of the School of Nursing, Kathryn Tart who said, "We are excited about being part of the Nurses Lounge.  It helps us keep our students connected, builds our alumni program and reaches the local nursing community."  She added that the Texas Organization of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Education (TOBGNE), an organization for which she is secretary, is also considering using Nurses Lounge as an easier and more effective way to manage communications and professional networking among its members.

MedCAREERS GROUP, Inc.'s focus is to develop and build value through its wholly-owned subsidiary Nurses Lounge, Inc., an online professional network and communication resource for nurses that offers a 21st century solution to recruitment and distribution of information that cannot be accomplished on a static nursing school or association website.
