Dramatic Anti-Aging Results - Fraxel® re:store Dual Laser Combines Two Wavelengths

(HealthNewsDigest.com) - The Fraxel® re:store Dual laser has added a new wavelength to the existing leading laser for non-ablative skin resurfacing and rejuvenation of the face, neck, chest, and hands. The new, more superficial Thulium fiber wavelength directly targets pigmentation with minimal discomfort in one or two treatment sessions. In addition, the deep penetrating Erbium fiber can be used in the new system for the treatment of wrinkles, enlarged pores, and acne scars. The Dual treatment regimen utilizes both wavelengths to target wrinkles, improve skin texture, and reduce melasma and dark pigment spots. The treatment consists of 3-5 sessions done at about 4 week intervals. The beneficial effects continue to improve for up to 3 months after each treatment. Treatment regimens to improve scars related to acne, surgery, or trauma can vary depending on the extent and severity of the scars. Fraxel® re:store Dual laser treatments can also be combined with Juvederm™, Restylane®, Sculptra®Aesthetic, and Botox® Cosmetic, as well as face and eyelid surgery to enhance the overall rejuvenating effect.

The laser energy is delivered in microscopic zones of heating, like pixels on a screen, with every treatment zone surrounded by unaffected skin to enable the body’s natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue. Rapid initial healing with short-term redness and swelling and some dryness and flaking can be expected for 2-5 days. Sunscreen and makeup can be worn after the first few days so that you can return to your normal routine.
