Often, time is a deciding factor - grabbing a meal from a fast food drive-thru on the way to work is a lot quicker than making a vegetable omelet at home. In an effort to help you continue to commit to adopting healthier lifestyle behaviors, we would like to share a smoothie recipe from our Super Smoothies Recipe Booklet.Smoothies are easy to make and a terrific way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. By using a blender to purée ingredients, you take care of the first step in the digestion process and make it easier for your body to absorb the nutrients.

Preparation Time: 5 MinutesIngredients:
1 ripe banana
1/2 apple, chopped
1 handful of fresh baby spinach
3/4 cup almond milk
1/4 cup cold waterOptional Additions for a Brain Health Boost:
1 tbsp. raw honey
1 tbsp. bee pollen
1 tbsp. flax seed oilDirections
