Although most of us possess basic knowledge about our heart, brain, and lungs, the intricacies of these organs can sometimes be better understood with a more in-depth, interactive explanation. That’s what Nathan Kalina thought when he first stepped inside the MEGA Brain. “People are always telling me about my brain and how it works, but I never really understood until I went inside the MEGA Brain.” Nathan suffered from epileptic seizures his entire life, sometimes up to 150 per day. Recently, he had a device attached to his Vagus nerve that has cured him of these seizures, and he has been healthy ever since. “We love the MEGA Brain because it gave Nathan the chance to see how his brain works and what parts of the brain his seizures were actually affecting,” said Megan Kalina, Nathan’s mother. “Without being able to walk around inside of something like this and see everything up close, it’s hard to explain which parts of the brain do what. These exhibits are great learning tools for people like us who need a visual to be able to full understand all of the moving parts.” Medical Inflatable Exhibits, Inc. is the manufacturer of human anatomy exhibits that teach people about the risks, symptoms, nature, and causes of the various diseases that can affect our vital organs. The MEGA Heart, Brain and soon-to-launch MEGA Lungs, are completely portable, inflatable, and have been featured on Dr. Oz, and The Doctors for their unique functionality. The exhibits have also been showcased at hundreds of hospitals, tradeshows, health fairs, children’s museums, and fundraisers throughout the U.S., drawing crowds and educating the general public about these parts of the body and the illnesses that can sometimes affect then. Lauren Melnick, a brain aneurysm survivor, says before she suffered her life-altering surgery, she had no idea what an aneurysm even was. “My emergency brain surgery was the first time I learned about aneurysms. I was completely in the dark about these silent killers, and ever since then, I’ve met so many families who have lost someone they love because they missed all the signs.” Now, Lauren is partnering with another survivor to host a 5K to build awareness and increase early detection. “The MEGA Brain is the best way for people to understand how aneurysms form and can be treated. Getting inside these exhibits and looking at every part of the brain up close makes you realize just how easy it is to leave a materializing aneurysm untreated.” While working in the healthcare industry, Founder and President of Medical Inflatable Exhibits, Inc. Lauren Hill, saw the opportunity to educate the public in a new and exciting way. “In my former position, I was always trying to come up with ways to get people interested in the medical breakthroughs happening right in our own hospital, but it was hard to communicate something so complicated without being able to physically show the affects of lung cancer, heart diseases, brain tumors, etc. that affect so many. That was when I realized there was a true need to teach people about their brain, heart, and lungs in an interactive way. I knew that being able to actually walk around inside of these exhibits and see how these organs work up close would be something people would really be drawn to. So far, we’ve been able to help educate people, like Nathan and Lauren, all across the U.S., and with the introduction of the MEGA Lungs, hope to reach even more.” For questions regarding how you can have the MEGA Heart, Brain, or Lungs at your next function, or for questions about Medical Inflatable Exhibits, Inc. please contact Jessie Boone at Jessie@integratepr.com, or 409-454-4604 . ### Subscribe to our FREE Ezine and receive current Health News, be eligible for discounted products/services and coupons related to your Health.
